Morgan Apartments, a luxury apartment community located in North Bethesda, one block from the intersection of Montrose Road and Rockville Pike, was acquired by Meridian from Avalon Bay Communities in 2005 .  Meridian has been renovating the common areas and upgrading the apartments to achieve higher rents.

Morgan Apartments consists of 132 luxury apartments in ten four-story buildings totaling 148,050 square feet, 248 parking spaces and land on five acres.  The community consists of large apartment units (average 1,121 square feet) with 9-foot ceilings and private garages which cater to apartment owners.  All apartments are two-bedroom units.  Tenants have the option of choosing from six floor-plan options made up of: two-bedroom; two-bedrooms with dens; two bedrooms with a loft and two bedrooms with a den and a loft.  Unit finishes include: new appliances; 42" cabinets; upgraded flooring throughout; granite or laminate countertops and more.
