VIRGINIA SQUARE PLAZA, located at 3811 North Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia, is a development site for a ten story,160,000 square foot Class A office building. Meridian rezoned the site in 1999 and began construction, on a speculative basis, in January 2000. The building was completed in June 2001. This site offers an excellent location adjacent to the headquarters of DARPA (the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and the Virginia Square Metro station. It is also near the Ballston Metro station and shopping mall. Virginia Square Plaza contains ground floor retail, conference space, and an exercise room with lockers and showers. The lobby features marble and cherry wood finishes.

The building was 51% pre-leased to multiple tenants at shell completion and 95% leased 12 months later. Meridian sold the building in September, 2003 to an institutional investor.
